"Every Registered Dietitian
is a Nutritionist, but
not every Nutritionist
is a Registered Dietitian."

-The Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics

1. What should I expect during my visit?

Simplicity is the key to Rachel's whole food and healthy lifestyle approach. During your first visit, Rachel will evaluate your medical history as well as review your current eating habits and lifestyle needs. Together, Rachel will work with you to establish your short-term and long-term nutritional goals. You will leave each session with a personalized plan, including practical information such as meal plans, plate diagrams, and grocery lists. Each follow-up visit will involve continuous food- and nutrition-related education, providing you with strategies to maintain your success and cope with any barriers you may face.

2. Do you accept insurance?

Yes! We currently accept the following health insurance plans:
Don’t see your insurance plan? Contact us to find out if we accept your specific plan.

3. Do you accept credit cards?

Definitely! We accept most major credit cards for out-of-pocket fees and insurance copays. Please contact us for further details about pricing and payment options

4. I am interested in hosting a TTP Nutrition Workshop at my school/studio. How should I plan?

TTP Nutrition conducts workshops in the New York and Long Island areas. If you are a teacher or owner of a dance studio, fitness establishment, or wellness center and would like to host a TTP Nutrition Workshop for your clients, contact us for more information about scheduling a class.

5. What is the difference between a "Nutritionist" and a "Registered Dietitian" (RD) or a "Registered Dietitian Nutritionist" (RDN)? Also, why Choose a Board Certified Specialist in Sports Dietetics (CSSD)?

Anyone can call himself or herself a "Nutritionist," but a "Registered Dietitian" or a "Registered Dietitian Nutritionist" is a certified practitioner and nutrition expert. As a CSSD, Rachel provides individual and group nutrition counseling to enhance the performance of competitive and recreational dancers and athletes while maintaining professional competency and skills required for professional practice.

6. I am not a dancer, but I would like to live a healthier lifestyle. Can you still help me?

Of course! While TTP Nutrition works with many dancers, our services cater to all populations. Contact us for more information about scheduling an appointment.

7. I am not from your area, can you still help me?

Absolutely! TTP Nutrition offers phone, email, Skype, and text messaging services for those unable to attend a workshop or individual session. Contact us for more details
